Restoring Water Bodies with Care. Delivering Results That Last.
Tanks, cheruvus and canals are the backbone of farming across Telangana, and many of them lose capacity every year to silt, weed growth and weakened bunds. We restore these water bodies so they hold more water, release it safely and stay serviceable for years.
This is work we have done on the ground. In 2019 our teams carried out tank desilting and bund work around Kodad under Mission Kakatiya, the Telangana government’s programme to restore minor irrigation tanks, deploying excavators, JCBs and tractors on dry tank beds through the working season.
We plan each job around the water calendar so that excavation and bund work finish before the monsoon. Desilted soil is placed on bunds or moved to farmers’ fields where permitted, and every stage is measured and recorded for departmental or private clients.
Tank restoration works around Kodad, Suryapet district (2019): desilting of tank beds and bund work with excavators, JCBs and tractors.

Our process
Inspection and survey
We study the tank bed, bund condition, inlets and outlets, and take levels to estimate silt quantities.
Season planning
Work is scheduled for the dry months, with machines and haul routes planned around fields and villages.
Desilting and bund work
Silt is removed to design depth and placed on bunds in compacted layers; slopes are trimmed and protected.
Structures and handover
Sluices, weirs and channels are repaired or built, final measurements are recorded and the work is handed over.
